Hi there! I'm Lisa Snow and I am the owner of Snowfall Designs - a small photography business with a big heart. I've been a part of the Mexico Missouri community for the last 20 years while married to my husband Jesse and raising our three kids. 18 years ago, I started photographing friends and family as a creative outlet in addition to my career as a social worker. A little over 10 years ago I solidified both careers by opening a therapy practice and photography studio in the same building, splitting my time in each fields equally. Just as I can't choose a career, I can't decide what type of photography I like best. Ultimately, I love meeting new people and learning about who and what makes them who they are. Human connection is paramount. I enjoy photographing children and families throughout every stage of life whether it's in a creek, on the family farm, or in the studio. I strive to make every session as comfortable and natural as possible - no stiff poses, and don't worry about uncomfortable silence because I will fill it with chatter, questions, and hopefully a lot of laughter...even if most of it is directed toward my awkward self. My goal is to capture images that are real and truthful because that is where the most beautiful emotions and memories are held.
